Using way: put the alloy head into the chain breaker, then alloy head just touch the top of pin of chain, clamp the roller, press wrench, then the pin will be squeezed out, then the chain is cut. For example, the chain is 11links, and you want to shortened to 8 links, then usually you need to disassembly two pins, and make it 7links and then use one connecting link to assemble to be 8 links.
