NOTE: This is an aftermarket ATV starter motor. The OEM Baja Motorsports Wilderness Trail 400 (WD400-U) ATV starter motor has been discontinued and is no longer available anywhere.
This starter motor has the same drive shaft and spline setup as the original Baja ATV part, but the mounting bracket is not a direct bolt on match.
You will need to modify the mounting setup on your ATV to allow mounting of this starter motor to be compatible with the Baja Wilderness Trail 400 ATV.
This is the only known electric starter motor that can be made to work on the now discontinued Baja Wilderness Trail 400 ATVs. Here is a part that is sometimes hard to find; the 9 tooth starter motor for 125cc/150cc, 250cc, & 400cc ATVs & dirt bikes. It features clockwise rotation. This 12 volt starter motor is compatible with the Baja Wilderness Trail 400 (WD400-U). The starter motor does not include the mounting bolts, so you will need to reuse your scooter or ATV’s original bolts. Specifications: AFTERMARKET PA
