What is the replacement part for the discontinued 2-7/8 chain tensioner with the smaller roller for the MB 165. Does the 2-5/8 with the larger roller work Would appreciate any input. Thanks
It’s possible that you may be able to directly swap the discontinued 2-7/8″ chain tensioner for the newer 2-5/8″ one, though we haven’t confirmed that. Alternatively, you could replace the entire jackshaft assembly with the Gen 2 version – the replacement jackshaft assembly will include the new 2-5/8 chain tensioner + a new steel cover and would retrofit the MB165.
