This item includes a 20-tooth sprocket for 8mm 05T chain Here is the transmission for the Motovox MVS10 stand up scooter, a very common scooter part used on many makes and models of 49cc gas powered scooters. This item includes a 20-tooth sprocket for 8mm 05T chain. If your old transmission uses a 25-tooth sprocket for a #25 chain, you can replace the sprocket with your old sprocket very easily. The gear ratio is approximately 5:1. The clutch drum turns five times in order to rotate the sprocket fully one turn.

Note: The Motovox MVS10 was originally equipped with a 14 tooth sprocket. If you wish to keep the original gearing ratio on your scooter, you will need to remove the 20 tooth sprocket included with this transmission and replace it with your original 14 tooth sprocket. Sprocket: 20 Tooth 05T Chain
